Tonight I learned that shopping for House Music at a record store like Everyday Music is not very easy at all. Most of EM's electronica selection of consists of new albums which are, of course, wrapped in cellophane. Therefor, unless you're willing to ask them to unwrap each disc for you, you cant really preview them as freely as you would a mainstream rock album. There are, however, several digital preview stations throughout the store where I was able to preview albums from its database. Somehow I doubt Everyday Music would ever be the first stop on a house head's music hunt but tonight is Thanksgiving and every other record store in the country is closed.
